ya my navicat been going for like 14 hours and is like at i say 52% maybe 55% like WTH and when i use sqlyog i get an error so plis help me make it go faster lawl

jimei what did you use to execute the sql in your database?

Navicat ofcourse. First i tried with SQLyog but it stopped at 47% or something and i tried with navicat, left it executing, and went to sleep. On the other day it was executed fully.

in your mangos folder where u have mangosd.conf
edit it and where it has
LoginDatabaseInfo = "127.0.0.1;3306;root;mysqlpasswordmysqlpassword;mangos"
WorldDatabaseInfo = "127.0.0.1;3306;root;mysqlpassword;mangos"
CharacterDatabaseInfo = "127.0.0.1;3306;root;;mangos"

change the 'mangos' to the name you created and imported the database to.

i think that is your problem.

example
LoginDatabaseInfo = "127.0.0.1;3306;root;mysqlpassword;database"
WorldDatabaseInfo = "127.0.0.1;3306;root;mysqlpassword;databse"
CharacterDatabaseInfo = "127.0.0.1;3306;root;mysqlpassword;database*

same goes for your realmd config change it from
LoginDatabaseInfo = "127.0.0.1;3306;root;mysqlpassword;realmd" to example

LoginDatabaseInfo = "127.0.0.1;3306;root;mysqlpassword;database"

I discovered something while trying your repacks for 8788 and 8820:

You seem to have used the databases for a long time on your own server named Hollywood before you packed them and uploaded them so we can download them. How I found this out?

This way:
When I imported your database for 8788, mangosd.exe kept crashing while loading the database when it tried to load the group tables. So I started looking at the tables and found out that most of the character tables had a lot of data stored in them (characters, what items they had, guilds etc etc). So I re-imported the character.sql and realmd.sql and emptied all the character tables (guild, groups etc) and now mangos loads without errors.

What I then did was the following:
I exported the database again to compare the sizes, and there's a HUGE difference:

Your database freshly extracted from the downloaded archive: 304 MB

My exported database after I cleaned the character tables: 86.7 MB


THAT'S A DIFFERENCE OF 200 MB!!!!


So my humble request to you is:

Could you please please clean the databases first before you upload them here?

I'm guessing the same issue happens with your 8820 database, which is 400-something MB big, so I assume you simply added new scripts to your existing database that you use for your own server.

hi moffeman..

i found an issue you might consider looking at..

i made a druid and learnt the required talents.. and found when u change form into say bear form.. u cant morph out to normal form again, the only way i found to get bac to normal form again was to relog.
