So I use your 8788 Database? But won't Old Stratholme be empty then? I'm not an expert with these things so forgive me if I'm wrong.

No, you use the 8820 database and the 8788 core, then your server will be for 8788 but stratholme spawned.

ok, Im lost. Moffeman, what do I do with the realmd and characters data?? do I import the dbc from the file u give out in ur repack? or do I use old dbc

also will you be doing an update pack aswell as a core (full thing) or just the core (full thing). i know i would like a update V3 to V4 as i have added some different portals, npc's etc.

Go to Navicat, into your database, and find the table called realmlist; you should see the address. Next to it is a code; change it to 127.0.0.1.

When u download a repack or release ... the core is the all the main files needed to run the server; mangosd.exe, realmd.exe, the dll files, the dbc & maps from ur client.... and so on!

I released the WotLK 3.0.2.8885 Cores and have tested two DB files on it and other then having to change the "DeathknightCreationCheck = 1"<------change that to a "0" in the mangosd.exe they both work!

Moffemans' DB will work with the new core just fine.
