WPE Gold Filter

I have a WPE gold filter that i know works because i watch a friend of mine use it at his house on the same server i am playing on, and he sent it over to me.

I am having trouble getting WPE pro to find the wow.exe process or program.. It just wont show up on the list.

Am i doing something wrong?

wow > WPE pro > target program > wow.exe is not on the list

Once i can get this working, ill just post the filter

You need a program called Permedit easily findable on google, basicly windows wont allow WPE administrator rights - what permedit does is force it to give administrator rights and when you do that you'll be able to see WoW.exe in the target program list

Can't you just run it as administrator? Or turn off UAC?

If not, then what Synopsys said is correct, and I doubtful that this "filter" will work for anything other showing you have x amount of gold client-sided.

I've had a few issues with WPE myself, I have to use Permedit everytime and I got UAC disabled.. so it's most likely going to be fixed with Permedit

In case you see WoW but you're unable to record any packets, then run both WPE and WoW with admin rights.

It should solve the problem.

i have managed to get it to work, only to the extent of mailing myself 1g, 23s and ending up with 1g, 33s

its not at all effective.

so, is still any working wpe filter for 3.3.5a? not spell swaping but gold or dupe, etc..
