Bug Any Mob (Even Bosses) To Not Move + Kill :)

Requires Ranged DPS. (Mage / Warlock / Hunter)
This MUST be done before the mob reaches you thus why you need range DPS.

So again, FROM A DISTANCE.

Attack (ranged) - Mob will come after you.
Move back + use a spell / skill attack
Move forward + any attack
Finished by strafe left or right.
After this do not move again.


You have to be right on the edge of in range / out of range before you initiate the first attack.


The mob will start moving REALLY SLOW like its nudging forward or hault all together. This works rather well with Mages because they can slow movement speed the frost spells work wonders.


Dont start spamming it doesnt work if you dont get it down right away. Understand its common sense if your going to use this on a Boss which it does work on, YOU will have to hold AGGRO over your melee dps.

Try it on a normal mob before running into a instance please.

i tryed the way u explained, it doesnt work.mob is just getting to you and start attack. 2.4.3 acent

2 questions:

A. Do you have to be on a flat plane with the targeted mob?
B. By "move left or right," do you mean strafe?

Anyone got this to work ? iv been trying on mobs now a while, cant get it to work. should i just walk backwards or run with my back towards the mob/boss ? thanks

Rogue you wont be able to do it, you have to be able to hold aggro on the bosses. As far as single mobs, if you can find a throw weapon fast enough that will work but I doubt you can pull it off.

Geek got it to work, you just need a little practice to master it.

how do u do it ? do u run backwards or just take a couple of steps, do u attack while running ? how far do u kite ,etc please help me

a few steps. no dont attack while running.
unless your using frost shock on a shaman.
then start walking as frost shock is about to cast.

Does this actually work? im a hunter, i do like this:
First 1 arrow.
Move Backwards
Second arrow
Move forward
Third arrow
then strafe right

And it doesnt work. Did i do anything wrong or?

also tried with mage
First frostbolt (pull the mob)
Then move backwards.
Then use second frostbolt.
Move Forwards.
Third Frostbolt
Strafe Right

Doesnt work either.

I cleaned up the original post so its easier to understand, also you need to use a skill attack somewhere in the midst.

I'll try to get admin rights to this computer today to install frapps, I am not promising anything though. Its simple if you follow the steps, I updated the original post.
