Hi i think i find a bug with a quest in netherledge

im in a private server named wowbeez

Its easy


Go to shadowmoon valley and go to netherwing ledge ( you need a flying mount )

You have to be exalted with Dragonmaw base camp

u have to take this quest : The Soul Cannon of Reth'hedron

anfter you have to find the mats to make the canon, after u find all the mats go speak with the quest donator (Illidari Lord Balthas) and he will make the canon for u.
Now u have another quest to do, dont do it just keep the canon in your bagpack and go to bt or another instance.

EX : i used the canon on illidan and he died with one hit..

All servers don't have this but some do!

busted on toxic - u can get soul cannon using warlock to enslave questgiver, but u cant use it - it says - u cant use that spell... but thx anyway

- it says exactly - "the spell is unavaible to u" - and in toxic u dont need any rep. , u just need warlock to enslave Ilidari Guy

i dont get it, i do have the cannon now(wowgasm server, black temple realm, managed to get it by enslaving the questgiver), but when i use it on mobs its just a DoT spell that does ~200 each tick, i dont get how i can solo anything with it since they will still hit me :/

EDIT: I did, however, discover that it can be cast on friendly targets, that is friendly NPCs and even players ;P

EDIT 2:
OK, I found out how it works, so im making somewhat a quick guide
First off, ALL CREDITS go to Medzii
Now, in order to get the quest, you can either be a warlock, have a warlock friend with you, or be honored with The Netherwing
If you have a warlock you can enslave the questgiver, talk to it and get the quest, same goes for returning the quest, enslave demon.
After returning the quest, a new quest becomes available, take it and it will give you the cannon(you dont have to complete the second quest)
After you get the cannon, you can cast it on anyone you want, and its a debuff that lasts 2 minutes, it damages a certain PERCENTAGE(that is theres no fixed damage for it, it depends on the targets health) so that after 2 minutes your target is dead, also you can cast the cannon even when youre mounted, so you can cast it on any boss and kite it arround for 2 minutes(which is not hard as you can do it without getting hit once) and voila works perfect! +rep for Medzii

EDIT 3(LOL): Forgot to mention, this has been tested on 17/5 on a 2.4.X server using Ascent 4.4-TRUNK rev 4541

they busted it on wowscape....they removed the guy that you get essence off of >.< think a few people managed to get it but....not me ='(

for WoWscape : they didnt remove the guy that drops the essence it just respawns after every DC so u have to be fast ... sad thing the Gm's made the quest giver disappear and the Soul Cannon unusable ;(
