Character creation

Ok so ive had my server up and i just did a database change and so i go to create a character everything looks fine but then i click create character it says retreiving character list.. and then it shows my list and there are no characters? Help? thanks.

Make sure ports forwarded and hosts file is edited.

hosts file is edited; i dont have a router so i dont need forwarded ports right?... any other suggestions?

It's a problem with the Character_insert_queue table I think
