No, you cannot, because the maps folder does not have anything to do with that, either the files or there, or they are not.

maps only do if you run into the zone you will explore it lol...

And it also controls some graveyards, you will get some pretty f'ed up graveyards if you don't use them.

I was also playing around with this question.. I just copied those PTR patch files to Data and Data/enGB, and changed the names from patch-x.MPQ to patch.MPQ and ran the ad_enGB.exe. Over all size was bigger after that, but i couldnt log in to game, it just hang in the loging screen every time.

however there s an ascent version out for the ptr
