Quests

There are none. They're not showing up at all.


Small Bugs




Forging and Some Monsters

Forge not working.

Some red named monsters, like the forest spiders, are waiting for you to attack first.
Kobolds Are attacking you in groups when you attack one, like an advanced intellegence.

Quests------------------> check quest table is not broken/missing and check NPC flags so they are setted to "2" (quest givers)

Some monsters------------> for spiders thing... check aggro range and for the kobolds thats something called creature formations...

For the quests ... if i open navicat ... then localhost > ascent > then i see the databases and click "quests" and in there i see like the 6th or w/e colum over is flags ... is that the part thats supposed to be set to 2 ? cause like all are set to 0 and 8 and liek 1 is set to 2 =/ ......

nooo... npc flags are the correspoinding NPC (creature_proto table) but if you dont know what im talking about... is better you download a new version of the database...

i see the creature_proto ... and theres alot to look through and idk which ones are supposed to be the quest ones cause thers non questrs ones so how do i know which to switch to 2 .... cause in-game no npc's give any quests ..... btw i would do a new database but i dont want to lose ... custom items ... or ppl lose their accounts or account info

I use ac-web 7.6 ... then i do 2dgreengiants compile updates daily and i did his latest HCDB update yesterday when i installed ac-web 7.6 ..... i had a diff program i ran my p-server on before but i changed to ac-web 7.6 yesterday

theres a column labled npc flags there... also check that your creature_quest_starter and creature_quest finishers arent missing or broken

and how do i know if that are missing or broken ??



are the quest starter and finsher supposed to have same number under the quest column .... like ik the left column stands for the np id and they are the same ... but when comparing the quest finsher and starter do the have the same number ?? ..... and also last the quest npc id listed in the quest starter and finsher should i look at that id number and go to creature_proto and make sure for each 1 of those id's the flag is 2 .... cause those id in quest starter and finsher i look at say 197 in those and then go to the creature_proto ... the falg number isnt 2 .... could that be my problem ...

...... also can u look at my post in this same area its new .. about bakcing up files for database install
...
