[Question]Having trouble with Database

Today i started having trouble with my database connecting to my server, i have not changed anything, in fact the only thing i have done that might have screwed it up is install wamp for my site. When i try to connect it says something around the lines that it cannot connect to localhost.
Programs ive tried:
Heidisql worked yesterday, cant log in today.
Navicat can connect, but cant extract batch db file to it, so kinda useless unless im doing something wrong.

Wamp includes a MySQL process in it. So it probably disabled your old MySQL, and then just set up a new one.

understandable, but how do i get it to connect back or have a connection to a database?
The message i get when i try to start it up is "Main Database initialization Failed. Exiting "

Go into wamp and disable mysql
Then start it up

alright i did that, but still no luck, i do get a different message now though lol.
"Cant connect to database. Reason: Cannot connect to MySQL with 127.0.0.1"
"Logon database initialization failed. Exiting"

Edit: Nevermind, i thought i didnt have to use the backround d/l again after i first clicked it today lol, ty for the help it worked, after i removed it from wamp ^^
