2 seperate realms?

I am looking to find a way to;

Have 2 separate realms on the same Hamachi server.

I have read the guides showing similar stuff but it doesnt work.
What I am looking for is to have 2 realms. ie 1 blizz and 1 fun, but running off different data bases (accounts) so that player A on blizz side cannot log into fun side and player B on fun side cannot log into blizz side unless there is the same account information entered by me.


I have copied my ptr server and have duplicates, I have modified all the conf files to point to different data bases but 2 problems happen.

When I run the servers I am only able to log into 1. If i start up Blizz first then fun I can only log into blizz, or if i run fun first i can only log into that (login information is 'wrong' other wise).

I know I cant give out massive amounts of rep but I'll find a way to show my appreciation for anybody that can help me with this. no blow jobs.

Do you have like 2 ascent folders?

ok this is how you setup 2 realms its simple really. have 2 ascent folders same files in both. rename the folders to keep them differeciated. for name sake we will call them ascent 1 and ascent 2 in ascent 1 set it up normal in ascent 2 under ascent-world.comf change the 8129 to 8130
example
<Listen Host = "0.0.0.0"
WorldServerPort = "8130">

then open the ascent-realms.conf

and change your realm name usinging the new port
example
<Realm1 Name = "realm name"
Address = "server address:8130"
Icon = "PVP"
Colour = "1"
Population = "1.0"
TimeZone = "1">
make sure you have a db for Accounts,
ascent server 1, ascent server 2, chars1, chars2,

set the ascent 1 with server1 and chars 1 and ascent 2 with server2 and chars2 db info

only start the login server in your ascent 1 forlder start the ascent-worls.exe in both. and you should be set. hope i could hel

Using the 1 logon server means both realms connect to the same logon data base; and I want 2 separate connections.

And that guide shows how to do it with dyn and ports, I cant forward my ports (not my router) so I need to know how to do this on Hamachi.

Again I have 2 data bases set up for the 2 realms. Both with separate Accounts tables.

Right now I can start both worlds up and the logon, but even with different ports used I am still only able to connect to the dominating logon server (the one that loaded first)
