problem with spartansp repack

I recently downloaded the spartansp repack V3 and everytime i go into attack a mob, the server disconnects and my ascent-world program closes automatically...any possible solutions to fix this?

Basically, there is some numbers on the ascent version you are using such as Ascent 2.8 stable, upgrade to a higher number such as 3.5!

Well, it should be stable, but I use stephs 2.8 which is great..

Works like a charm, and it is old, I know!

But its great..
