Ascent/Logonserver .CONF

Hello,
I Have a little question you might be able to help me with.
I've made a little picture of it so it's easyer to explane: Picture.
Please could any1 help me on this? Thanks in advance!

That picture shows me that 'ascent.exe' can't find 'realms.conf'.
Maybe its mispelled or called 'realms.conf.txt' by mistake?

You should update your ascent, 2.8 is pretty old, its 3.9 going on already
Look at Gastricpenguin's thread (it's sticky)
If it still gives same message after that, post in this thread.

I have had this problem before..... all i needed to do was update everything..... as well as i had to take my firewall down :/

just update ascent and everything then you should be fine..... also you might not want to use Vista (if you are) because it could also cause this error.

Actually it sort of worked...
I Bumbed into another problem this time...
I've put a screenshot of it in this post.
What shall i do wrong this time? :O Picture
And should I copy all the files from my repack into this ascent 3.9 folder?
If so, wich? All? :S --> I'm using Norwegian 4.0 Repack by Knaur.

NO dont do that!!!! Ascent now is called ascent-world and putting ur old files will result to server crush!!!

I suggest open the old files like the ascent .confic and open from the new revision u got the ascent-world.confic and remake everything i mean start from 0

Also if u copy paste ur old files download a new 1...

Ok so this means..
Basicly I just take the newest revision (i got that atm)
And i want to use the other datebase from Norwegian 4.0
But that sais 2.8 stable, how could i take that database and stuff into my new ascent folder then? What should i paste in the new file then? Just all? or just some certan files? And if so, Wich files? Thank you alot in advance!

Btw at the moment i got revision 3940. That's the newest one right?

Well, you're using Ascent, so I believe the DB is NCDB. If you have the folder on your system and you used something like Tortoise SVN, just right click on the folder and select SVN update. Though, if you're using a repack...you might need to get a newer version of that particular repack?
