well one of the players of The Lowland Realms - Home created this so credits go to him! His name is Jasper and here is his post:
I was looking for an addon that would clear my cache every time I started World of Warcraft, but I found out that it was no longer supported by the WoW-language*, so instead I wrote this batch-file myself. It first clears your cache and then starts World of Warcraft for you.
Instructions:
1. Download the attached file and place it in your World of Warcraft folder
2. Right-click your (desktop)icon and choose properties
3. Edit your target to be [...]WoW.bat instead of [...]WoW.exe (or even [...]Launcher.exe)
4. Click on choose icon...**
5. Click on browse, browse to your WoW folder and choose WoW.exe
6. Click on OK twice (once for the icon and once for the properties)
From now on your start-up icon has a cache-clearing built in!
Be aware: you mightl have to do this again after an update
*the laguage (LUA) allows it, but the required part of the language is not supported by World of Warcraft
**At this moment it shows the right icon, but that's fake
Download the file here
(Internet Explorer users: click on the link and choose save)
(FireFox users: rightclick the link and choose save target as)
edit: made some changes to the batch file (okey - just added egocentric comments ) and removed the attached file and added a link to my own download location
edit2: changed the "will have to do this again" to "might have to do this again", as I patched today without having to do it again. I am still not sure whether it always works (I have had my shortcut changed from WoW.exe to Launcher.exe before)
