[Help]Pet bug

Alright once again im confuzzled it seems while i leveled my dwarf hunter and go to the first part of taming the beast training, i got tame beast dismiss and call pet i tamed a beast forgetting i needed to feed it, well as it was fighting it killed something and surprisingly it leveled up! now i am the admin of my server and i went and caught the biggest highest level pet i could find because i thought you couldnt level up pets, well now that i have feed pet and revive i got the same pet and now it wont level up...i dont get this, is this a bug or somewhat the only difference between then and now is im in a party AND i have feed pet and stuff, please tell me how i can fix this, thank you



EDIT it seems being in a party kept it from leveling, oh well guess this mite help future ppl who have the same problem haha stupid me xP
