[Help] Boss Fights

I noticed when running through MC that there is something majorly wrong with these bosses. I'm not sure if they need scripting, but all their spells work properly (living bomb, luci's curse all that jazz). But when you try to attack the boss, you will all ways get a glancing blow or if you cast a spell on it, it will always resist. The only thing that can do damage are Special Melee attacks. Anybody know how to fix this? I don't think I need to script them or anything as I don't see why so much work is required for such a small problem.
