Alright, So I was updating my core, et'cetra

And Last night I accidentally patched to the latest Blizzard Patch

Well now anytime i try and logon on to my server

"Unable to validate game version. This may be cause by file corruption or the interference of another program. Please visit http://us.blizzard.come/support/arti...rticleid-21370 for more information and possible solutions to this issue"

Then i got my boyfriend to connect, He could just fine, he hadn't downloaded the patch.

Then i connected to the blizzard retail server, Flawless.

But I still get this error everytime I try and connect to my server, Yet everyone else on my server who isn't patched can connect just fine.

I then went to the link suggested in the Error. It describes Trojans.

Did blizzard find a way to stop Server Emulation? This looks like something they've patched to clientside to detect emulation tools and marked it as a Trojan.

This is all hypothetical but the evidence is outstanding.

Not to mention I've never seen/heard of this error message before.

Just go to your config files and set max build to 9000. If you havent done that yet lol.

Everything is set like it should be in any private server.

I just tried to log onto Retail

WHILE ASCENT IS ON

and it gave me the same error message.

I can only logon when ascent isn't up.

i noticed the trojen i got it about 16% into dling new patch but stoped dl i belive it is to stop us from playing on private servers however i elimnated the mother f**r

I am experiencing this as well.
I updated, and now, if I try to run any version of Ascent over rev 1500 it wont let me logon ^^
yes, ive tried many hundreds of revisions, this quite peaked my interest.
I deleted the patch, no success.
i had to completely reinstall wow.
i guess blizzard is fighting back now.
but - it only hapepns if your running ascent on the same machine
