we also running it online at epicwow dedicated server now,
so my best answer is to check out the guides at mmowned.

stephtorrent compiled this ascent and it has been confirmed working by all ppl tryed it.

that means you dont use my ascent with my .dll files in script_bin
try the ascent 3004 release i updated post with anyway, the old
ascent 2880 stable that i had was compiled wrong,
so i got a working one from stephtorrent.

all my dll files are in that now working, included the serverstatus.dll

Ok, so I did that and now when i try to log in ( WoW ) i get this Error message " unable to validate game version. this may be caused by file corruption or the interference of another program....." havent changed anything worked before with 2880, just put in the new database and copied my old maps to 3004. Why is it like this ?

danis: this db are based on ncdb so you can update with theyr changeset sql,s yes.

miros1: use .commands to get all the ascent commands
and download ascent GM Addon to wow, then you dont need to remember commands

WEll I get a ascent error when it open's up why? almost finishing and a error comes up but.. press ok and working.. the error is something like [code]the procedure entry point ?sendCasresut@spell@@QAEXE@Z could not be located in the dynamic link library ascent.exe ... and getting a crash from the logonserver.exe somethimes why?':S thats all the db is greay ^^ cool +rep dude good work maybe u help me

I think the fixed ServerStatusPlugin.dll should fix that. Look longer up on this page.

Edit2: Just one little question. What would be the best to put leveling rates on? Since you've got the starting area and the start quest and all that, it can't be to high, 'cause then you'll just take a big jump over the start, but I'm thinking later, in Azshara. Will it be balanced and not too slow if I have xp on 15 and quest xp on 30? That made you 19 from the start quest. (From the starter cow, or whatever it's called)
