    [TIP] Hosting a server

    HI guys

Well i seen alot of people asking about buying a server.

I want everyone to read this before you waste your money.

If you are planing to buy a server machine, you have to look at the following:

    1. A server machine is not in anyway increasing your upload speed
when you host a server like world of warcraft it takes alot of uploading to do, if your ISP has 900 kbs Upload speed (in most cases its even lower) then there is no machine that will make your server run smooth when you have a high ammount of people online.

Ok so you got a machine now what? Yes the server will run smoother then on a regual pc. But the fact remains.... Your ISP is in control here more then you are.

    2. Of course if you have t1 connection then you good to go,
IN USA it varries in prices from 250$+ / month
    Canada it goes for 400+

You must look at all these values before going for a buy.

I think in my oppinion its much better to use a host like Myself ( i HOST COD4 and WOW servers from my business network) ( Have fiber Optical t2)

    - instead of wasting money on a server and updating your Internet Connection , its more useful to use a host to do everyting for you .
