    [Request] Warp NPC

    Ok guys.. we really need a working Warp NPC for the latest Ascent 28k reversions.

    I have Ascent rev2850 and Gastrics GlobalNPC did not work. It just made my ascent crash
    The same problem happens to Chrispee's Warp NPC.

    And when i download the latest ascent and use Viter's guide on compiling ascent it also doesn't work.
    I can't compile Scripts and i can only compile like 3 or 4 files from ascent.. the rest failed.

    Seriously what the hell has gone wrong ?

    Oh and we also need a goddamn Ascent Database Editor for latest NCDB.
    This one can't even make items..

    Here's my warper, it works with latest revisions, it's customised for me, but at least you know this one is working.

    If your server crashes because of it, then your server is busted, or there is another problem.

    Okay but uhmm.. could i get the compiling files so i can edit them myself ?

    Add my own locations and stuff

    Can you test to see if the file works first?

    To be honest, I dont think its the DLL files that are a problem. That DLL was created using Gastric's code and it works fine.

    I just want to know if it crashes your ascent.

    It still crashed my ascent.. i guess my ascent doesn't work too well.

    I will download your ascent 2.8 stable and see if it works.

    But i wasn't asking for the source so i could fix the DLL.. i was asking for it so i can add my own tele locations

    Ok i got your stable ascent 2.8 and the GlobalNPC worked.

    But i want to put my own teleport locations to it.

    Is there a way i can contact you and you could help me out with compiling the GlobalNPC ? I know how to script new teleport locs and all that and i know basics on compiling ( i compiled ascent rev2850 successfully )..

    oh and +rep for getting it to work

    That's fine, but if you compiled your own again, from other sources, and then started ascent and it crashed, you would have just figured that you had compiled it wrong, but now you know your core is ****ed.

    Yes we used the same NPC and when i tried to compile my own GlobalNPC it didn't work.. in c++ it just said "0 succeeded 1 failed 0 skipped." in the end and i got no globalNPC.ddl

    But one thing that would probably work is that if you give me the stable ascent 2.8 source. So i can use that to compile my globalNPC.

    EDIT: Oh and my reversion was 2850.. i downloaded you stable one and it's back to 2801 now. I guess that works better but all i need is the source for the rev2801
