    Ac-Web guides.. [Has Hamachi public/Non-hamachi public guide]

    First you want to download it from ac-web.org... right now the latest version is Ac-web 7.4....

    Step-by-step to setup your Ac-Web server

    1.After you download it make sure it is in your C drive folder thing
    2. In the main Ac WEb ultimate repack folder you will see 2 .rar files... Map Extractor ENUS and Map Extactor ENGB... If your US.. you want to open the Map Extractor ENUS and extract it to your WoW directory folder (C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft)
    3. Run ad.exe and you don't have to create a maps folder because it makes one for you when you extract it..... This will take 15 minutes give or take.
    4. After the map extracting thing is done you want to move the maps to the Ascent folder (C:\AC Web Ultimate Repack\Ascent)
    5. Then Go to the C:/AC Web Ultimate Repack and click control panel and click Launch Server
    And HAha your servers up..

    Note: When you have the Mysql comand promt open from when you clicked Launch server your info is gonna be Username: Root password: ascent Have fun...

    Configuring Website To make public
    1. First go to your Server folder Htdocs and look for Configuration.php...
    2. Open that file and press cntrl F and search live. Change http://localhost to your realmlist (if you want it public) For example MIne says Http://demonkeepers.servegame.org So if you want to get people to connect go to that...
    3. If you want to edit it go to http://"YourName"/adminstrator and you can edit it there.. Dont go to http://Localhost/adminstrator if its public! it will not work.
    And merry christmas yot it public...

    Making it public with hamachi
    1. Go to hamachi.cc and download it... After you have it running Look for the triangle near the bottom left and click Create a network...
    2. Create what you want but remember your information you chose so later on you can have your friends connect to it.
    3. Go into your Ascent folder and look for realms.conf at the bottom you will see

    <Realm1 Name = "Ac Web Ultimate Repack"
    Address = "127.0.0.1:8129"
    Icon = "Normal"
    Colour = "1"
    Population = "1.0"
    TimeZone = "1">

    Change to

    <Realm1 Name = "Your Realm Name"
    Address = "Your Hamchi IP:8129"
    Icon = "Normal"
    Colour = "1"
    Population = "1.0"
    TimeZone = "1">

    and There you go

    Making it public WITHOUT Hamachi

    1. Go to DynDns.org Create an account and Create hostname...

    2. Then once you get there It should say like _____ . "What you want the end to be"
    At the blank fill in what you want and also what you want the end to be...
    3. TIck the wildcard and then click the auto-ip link..
    4. After your done with that go to C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc

    Then open up hosts with notepad.

    Make it look like this

    127.0.0.1 (Your DYNDNS hostname)
    Your internal IP (Your DYNDNS hostname)
    Your external IP (Your DYNDNS hostname)

    Yo can find your Internal IP bye going to start run then type in cmd then type in ipconfig ... It starts with 192

    You can find your External IP bye going to ipchicken.com

    5. After you have done that go to your Realms.conf and open it up... go to the You will see something like Realmcount = 1... change that to 2

    6. Then go to the bottom and you will see

    <Realm1 Name = "Your Realm Name"
    Address = "127.0.0.1:8129"
    Icon = "Normal"
    Colour = "1"
    Population = "1.0"
    TimeZone = "1">

    Change to

    <Realm1 Name = "Your Realm Name"
    Address = "Your External IP:8129"
    Icon = "Normal"
    Colour = "1"
    Population = "1.0"
    TimeZone = "1">

    Then Add this under it.

    <Realm2 Name = "Your Realm Name - Local"
    Address = "Your Internal IP:8129"
    Icon = "Normal"
    Colour = "1"
    Population = "1.0"
    TimeZone = "1">

    That helps realm loop...

    Next you have to go forward ports under your router.

    I have linksys so i go to 192.168.1.1

    Username i leave blank and i put "admin" for the password

    You have to forward

    3036
    3724
    6881-6999
    8129
    2093
    6112
    8050
    8245
    3306
    80

    Under Protocol, put Both and under IP Address, put the end of your internal IP..
    You need to tick Enabled..

    Next you need to find where you can type in your dyndns stuff.. for linksys you got to go to setup.. then ddns Where it says DDNS service put in DynDNS.org

    Then put in ur things.. and save settings.. And merry christmas you have ur server public without hamachi... Remember to post any problems you have here.. ill help
