[HELP] mySQL error on install

ok well i get this error when i press execute on the setup of mysql

I had that error too, to fix it, I either used 5.1 instead, or I used the 6.0 configuring tool to configure 5.0. I forget which one, try both

try type the first password you did the first time when you installed mysql on you pc

When I had this I had installed MySQL before and uninstalled it but it was still in Program files I just deleted the folder and reinstalled it and it worked just fine.

ok thanks, ill try again, i just through it went with the uninstall and then mysql installed into program files again, ill try it now

He's stuck on starting service, not applying security settings
