SVN GUIDE
WTF IS SVN
well im here to tell you and explain Easily what SVN is and How you can use it
(SVN) is a version control system initiated in 2000 It allows users to keep track of changes made to any type of electronic data, typically source code, web pages or design documents.
Wait WTF Does this all mean
What this means is if your intending on running a server useing one of the DB's Above and the only way to get it is threw SVN
This helpful lil tool here Downloads it straight to your computer not only does it download but it will keep the DB up to date by auto or manuel Choice
But How Does it work good question and this is all you need to know
Download Tortoise SVN At: Download | TortoiseSVN
Once The Download Has Finished Install Tortoise on your PC
Now once your done with that you may ask what now
well thats up to you what DB do you want to use
simply choose which one youd like
Once your done with that
heres your next step
Were going to use NCDB as a example
1.make a folder on your desktop or where ever you wish
2.Copy The SVN of The DB You have Chosen
then simply right click on the folder and highlight down to SVN Checkout
3.once your SVN Checkout Opens Paste the address you chose in the URL of Repository scroll
Then click OK
4.And As you will see It Downloads Everything into that Folder
And Your Done Youve Sucessfully Used SVN
Note Some SVNs Require a Login Info in Most Cases
The Username is anonymous and the password you leave Blank
Other than that i hope you all found this useful
Happy Holidays
