+REP IF YOU can tell me if this machine is good enough for my server!

I've been looking around for servers for WoWMafia(my wow server 16th best in world) and I found this which I'm really interested.

    Things I want to know:

1.How much people will I hold with this machine without getting ALOT of lag
    ( considering im using a t1 connection)

    2. Is it worth the money or should I just go buy an Imac Pro and get 2 Xeon processors for a bit more money?

    3. if wowscape used this machine, would their servers lag like hell?

+Rep to whoever answers all 3 questions

    Machine Im planning on getting:

    CybertronPC – Imperium XV9042 Dual Intel Xeon 5050 Dual Core 3.0GHz 2GB DDR2 ECC (3) 250GB SATA II RAID Edition HDDs RAID 0, 1, 5, & 10 DVD±RW Floppy Dual Gigabit LAN 650W Tower Server TPCSERI1XV9042 in Canada at TigerDirect.ca

    thnx

    Hey again. Some more advice.

Not too much experience so i couldn't tell you how many people it would support sorry. Lookiong at the specs of the machine though its....pretty nice...to say the least , 100 people easily, 200 probably easy aswell.

Don't get a mac! for the specs and price you pay its not worth it. Really. I know you can do bootcamp and shit, but no, not a mac.

The machines pretty nice. Its got alot. Processers are like yay! so good on those. There is a few useless things on there that you may not need though, such as floppy -.- the 7 expansion slots. (HUGE upgrade coming? :P ) DVD-r would be good for backups....though a little script to backup to a local machine would be easier. Anyway nice machine, should easily do what you would want it too, met your expectationss etc. It'll run your electricity bill like crazy but wth eh! :P
If you do upgrade it more, always go for more RAM! <3 RAM. You have nice fast RAM on that machine so thats a good thing good luck!

Well.... This is a nice choice for a PC to run a server on..... But im wondering, will it be a dedicated server or? Because that will have alot to say on how many people that are going to be able to play qithout lag.....
So.... Im gona guess that it will be a dedicated one.....

1.How much people will I hold with this machine without getting ALOT of lag
(considering im using a t1 connection)
I think you can hold about 500 people without any lag, but when you reach 2000 it should probably lag....

    2. Is it worth the money or should I just go buy an Imac Pro and get 2 Xeon processors for a bit more money?
NO! Stay away from mac's for running servers! The one you have found is awsome for a server!

    3. If wowscape used this machine, would their servers lag like hell?
Well.... I guess it would lag more, thinking about their 4000 players.... But I wouldnt think you should concider that. It is not realy a big chance for getting all 4000 players....

That is what i think, so.......

...Also depends what router you have, if you have about 100Mps then you can hold around 150-250 or more, and if 1000 Mps then you can hold 1350 + players with about 350- MS or even less..
