Question about Ascent

Ok....so Ascent is open source right...does that mean we are free to modify it?




and if so...yes i know it will not be supported by The Ascent Dev's.

Yes you can, in any way shape or form except it needs to be called ascent

Ascent is open source = means you can change it in any way shape or form, as Timmy said, although not only does it need to be called "Ascent" full credits to the ascent team must always be given, i believe. And they really really hate it when you take it and release it elsewere, they jump on you like blood hounds.

As you can clearly see, many people make repacks using the ascent emulator...if making a server I'd suggest getting one of these repacks, I've recently found mafiaboy's to be a good stable repack, give credit to the person who made the repack on your site, then edit away...if you ever need ideas send me a message I've edited tons of things on my server.
