Windows Server Guide Needed

I went looking through the guides section and I couldn't find an XP guide.

I found a great Linux guide but the guy that's going to host our private server uses XP.

where can I find a guide for that?

and where's all the code-monkey's that write click and go programs for this stuff?

What kind of guide? You mean for a Windows Server?
(If you mean a Windows Server Guide... I just wanna say... That I Recommend Linux on a Server Computer... The License is 100% Free for a Linux Server Client but for Windows Server its over 1000$)

everyone recommends linux. and I agree. when I had WoW installed I was using Ubuntu. but our host uses Windows. We're all new at this stuff so when we set it up we'll need a guide specific to windows.

Once we know how to do it the host is a coder so I'll convince him to make a click and go program for it.

so ur looking for a guide on how to setup a windows server for wow? like mangos or ascent? if u can set up the server on ur computer it should be the same for a wan setup just change some ip's and forward some ports and ta-da! u have ur server. here a link to help u out
