    Sum issue with 127.0.0.1

    for sum reason, nothing wont connect to 127.0.0.1, like my phpmyadmin says my sql server isnt up, which it is...

    then i try installing a DB, via a batchfile, it wont also connect, saying it cant connect via 127.0.0.1

    Ive reinstalled WAMP "the package i used" also checked my "host" file, and its also saying localhost is 127.0.0.1, and ive also checked my ipconfig, and thats looking all good, firewalls are all down, all ports are forwered..

    anyone gotta idea about that?

    try reconfiguring ur mysql... sometimes that works. just set it up the same as u had it. It'll reset ur mysql and that might help.

    Re: Sum issue with 127.0.0.1

    just checked it again and its correct.

    im really confused, SQLyog connects, but everything else doesnt O_o;;;

    just checked my logs as well

    071121 3:09:48 InnoDB: Started; log sequence number 0 67922
    071121 3:09:48 [Note] c:\wamp\mysql\bin\mysqld-nt.exe: ready for connections.
    Version: '5.0.45-community-nt' socket: '' port: 3306 MySQL Community Edition (GPL)

    so its all opened on ports and allowing incomming connections

    Sorry if this has already been said but Use localhost sometimes it works better than 127.0.0.1 for some reason
