How to downgrade Wow back to 2.2.3!!

:wave:How to downgrade to any patch!!! (2.2.3 in this case so you can connect to private servers)
Go into you're world of warcraft\data file, Usually located in C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Data. Delete the "Patch.mpq" file (C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\data\patch.mpq)

go back to C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft and run the repair.exe (C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\repair)

And click Reset and check files and wait for that to finish and you're done, It'll patch you back to 2.0.0.

2.0.0 → 2.2.0 (~476 Mb)
World of Warcraft v2.2.0 US Patch - FileFront.com

2.2.0 → 2.2.2 (~8 Mb)
Internode Games Network File Library :: World of Warcraft 2.2.0 to 2.2.2 US/AUS Patch - WoW-2.2.0.7272-to-2.2.2.7318-enUS-patch.exe (No Registration Required)

2.2.2 → 2.2.3 (~2 Mb)
Internode Games Network File Library :: World of Warcraft 2.2.2 to 2.2.3 US/AUS Patch - WoW-2.2.2.7318-to-2.2.3.7359-enUS-patch.exe (No Registration Required)

NOTE: (this is to prevent that annoying automatic update window to 2.3.0)After you are done downgrading wow back to 2.2.3 open C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\realmlist.wtf and change it from:

set realmlist us.logon.worldofwarcraft.com
set patchlist us.version.worldofwarcraft.com

to:

set realmlist 'serverip'
set patchlist 'serverip' :wave:

When your playing private servers you should never use launcher.exe anyway.

If your starting it directly with wow.exe, and your realmlist isn't set to retail's, then the patch download wont start.

Well I followed the steps, but when I try to logon it instantly tries to download 2.3 anyways...

How do you get past this?

hey ya.. Xerotes,
you have to open your wow folder from c:/ program files, go to world of worldcraft folder and then use the "wow.exe" NOT THE LOADER and basically you have bypassed the blizz crap and like they said just make sure your realmlist is changed to.. and youll be happy

Ok all if u dont want it to download first time click wow exe and then at logon screen u will see a box that says show launcher (or somthing like that)

have itr uncheaked and now u can run wow normaly.

Or you can go into your wow folder and right click wow.exe and click pin to start menu and when u do that if u click start button in bottem left corner it will be on that first line forever
