:wave:How to downgrade to any patch!!! (2.2.3 in this case so you can connect to private servers)
Go into you're world of warcraft\data file, Usually located in C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Data. Delete the "Patch.mpq" file (C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\data\patch.mpq)
go back to C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft and run the repair.exe (C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\repair)
And click Reset and check files and wait for that to finish and you're done, It'll patch you back to 2.0.0.
2.0.0 → 2.2.0 (~476 Mb)

NOTE: (this is to prevent that annoying automatic update window to 2.3.0)After you are done downgrading wow back to 2.2.3 open C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\realmlist.wtf and change it from:
set realmlist us.logon.worldofwarcraft.com
set patchlist us.version.worldofwarcraft.com
to:
set realmlist 'serverip'
set patchlist 'serverip' :wave:
