Linux Server Emulator?

Hello, I was just wondering if there was a linux server emulator. I can't use WINE seeing as I am on CentOS using a dedicated server. I need a emulator that can use MYSQL or some other sort of database.

Seems to me that there are people running ascent on linux. At one time, i was going to research this. I am sure I saw a couple of threads, either here or on Ascentemu.org.
