"Sometimes the questions are complicated and the answers are simple."

First you must learn what a repack is. Revisions are up to the Ascent scripers, a repack is just a person that takes on the work of others, fixes bugs, updates items and spells as WoW goes through patches, and matches data from WoWhead or Thottbot. Funserver repackers usuall add in custom vendors, areas, or other things. you do not need to make a repack, just make some cool .sqls for everything.

To make all this - WoW-V.com

well you can make your own private revs... we on lowland realms have for example... "Ascent R2031 [Build:1432]/Release-Win32-X86" rev2031 private rev 1432

If you know c++ you can make your own core revs also
