Rogue blind bug (requires 2 players)

So after the last thread got deleted I decided I'll give it a new try in this section (hope it's the right one this time... if not, please MOVE it and don't delete it).

OK, to get this exploit working you need to be a rogue and you need to have blinding powder and a rogue friend with blinding powder as well.

What the bug does (to NPCs, doesn't work on players):

It bugs (mostly) any mob so it won't attack you anymore. You can however still attack it.

What you need in order to get the bug working:

-a rogue
-a rogue friend
-blinding powder

What you need to do:

First, you find yourself a nice mob you've always wanted to kill (or just any mob). Then you and your friend get in range so you can use blind. Use blind and tell your friend to use it too so it stacks. If you see the effect stacked on the mob then you've done everything right.

I still didn't find a way to do this solo so far, so if anyone has an idea I'm eager to hear it.
