Unable to connect to realmlist server, oh yes, i need help

i just cant connect to the realmlist server apparently

Well this maybe not be a good answer but have you tried to re-install??
Always when i get some error and cant fix it and i got something that is custom made or something i just dump the sql file and put it in after i re install it

Me need rep and good name!
1. Check for a firewall (can get the best of all of us)
2. Port Forward (sure you know which ones)
3. check that there are no other things on your computer that could interfere (other emu servers etc)
4. Norton and mcafee need to be off!

I had this problem. I fixed it by puting my dyndns Host name in C:Windows/system32/drivers/etc and I opened host with notepad and put in this

127.0.0.1 (Dynamic DNS)
(Internal IP) (Dynamic DNS)
(External IP) (Dynamic DNS)

Just Replace the stuff in the brackets with whatever goes there

Thats how I fixed it... Might be diffrent for you because of your host.

I agree lol but sometimes you can forget stuff and what not...

Its only a recent problem I think because I haven't seen too many posts about this first one I seen was about a month ago

your DNS address is no longer supported by your host site.

Your firewall is blocking access.

your ascent.exe is corrupt

typo outside quotes in realms.conf

your remotepasswords dont match.

port not forwarded

incorrect address(s) in your realms.conf

Get a new host try it if it dont work then we know it's not your DNS but it probly is.
