[Emergency]Ascent.exe crashes, will give rep to whoever helps

Alright so just when I start to get 40 people online on average and getting 50+ votes per day on xtremetop100.com my ascent.exe doesn't work anymore.

Logonserver.exe works just fine, but ascent.exe crashed. When it starts loading the storages( in ascent.exe ) it gives me the " send report" or "dont send report" error message.

What hapenned is that my computer automaticly restarted while server was running smoothly and so when the computer is booted up again and works fine ascent.exe crashes when i try to start it. I scanned my computer for viruses and I'm squeaky clean.

I need to get this server up again. I backed up my accounts,website and world database. I tried restarting the computer and mysql. Dropping and then reloading the world database. Still the same message.

Im using Julianx's Repack v5 and my operating system is windows Xp proffesional.

Could be your map files, might be corrupted. Try putting Maps folder and the AD.exe file in your World of Warcraft folder. Start up AD.exe afk for a little and when it is done move it back to the ascent folder and try loading ascent.

I had this happen to me a few days ago, my DB had become corrupted and i had to drop and re-import a clean version of NCDB. I hope this isn't your problem because you would lose all custom stuff you put into your DB...

nope it is that maps what happend is one of the maps got delete cause alll of them to not load but from looking at the pic the rest is fine imm goin to get on my pc in a sec and i can giv u my vent info to try and get this worked out


but try and find a new map gatherer and run it in the wow folder just incase

no it cant be maps, i just unzipped a new whole thing of Julianx's repack. Didn't use the maps and I still get the same error...

It's possible ascent.exe got corrupted from not being shut down properly ,try DL a new ascent.exe from and replacing it(using your same mysql DB).
