emu type? which ones better

currently I am using mangos.... and have some ideas about tossing it out the window.

can anyone give me some info about the other emulators and which you consider the better of them ... and if able why... as in bugs/issues

I am looking for a decent stable emu build, having way to many issues with mangos

Ascent is the best emu right now...
it is much more stable then mangos (much much less crashes) has lot less lagg with big population! Uses a lot less bandwich...
Has the best working spell/talent system!
Not much big bugs as in mangos...

Yeah, Ascent is much better then Mangos. The gm commands are better structured.

well looks like i need to start learning to use Acsent then

seems the majority of public servers are using it.

hard parts finding a good version and db that will support 2.2.X + now

I started off with mangos, but now use Ascent -MUCH BETTER!!!

and ascent database looks almost exacly the same as mangos database so no worries there
there are a lot of guides how to set up a ascent server, on this forum and on the ascent forum...
