Cannabis WOW NEEDS HELP

OK so, Cannabis server is a a new Server with Great GM's (Cannabix and ME!)
We are in Beta and are in the Works of a **** load of custom stuff...and after i made some custom leveling items...i thought i needed to make a custom Tier 7 for a Custom Instance...BUT OH NO!!!!!
Alot of my Colors dont match...maybe a shoulder and a Hood look kool together but one is green and one is Blue!!!

Well i looked into it and i found out that my problem can be solved...But Me a Cannabix are Swarmed 24/7 with work, on this server and we just dont have the time to edit colors...but becuase of this it has put my Tier 7 at a stand still (now i am working on Events, And Editing BT so i can be 3-5 man Raided with all Tier 6 not some...) well we need to Hire some one who can solve our problem...and who can edit Certian items' Colors and stuff like that...You will be credited and you will be a GREAT help to our Cominuity.

So if anyone can do this people Post here and help...possobly give a Screen shot of one of ur items...

Changing an items color requires model editing, which is a client-side change. Which would then require your players to DL a file to be able to see the change in armor appearance.

not true becuase we are Running on a Mix of Server builds and DB's and one of them is Chrispee's and alot of his custom items are just normal items with Color changes...and none f our players had to download any files...

Chrispee's DB has no model editing, if you post a screen shot of the custom items in question I can show you where the models came from. Your best off DLing WoW Model Viewer (WoW Model Viewer) and using this to get models you like for a custom set.

And Dalamar...i know where the Items came from...but they are different colors! like Bio pole is a Weapons that is normally red

The model for the Bio Pole exists (Theres a red AND a green version)....as Dalamar said, There isn't any model editing in Chrispee's repack...

And what about the Black and Red Version of the That Bow that Drops in Kara
the Something Fury Bow

Its normally yellow orange and red

Correct, when The Burning Crusade came out it proved Blizzard's laziness, a lot of their items were re-skins of old items. Leaving many options like this where there are multiple items with the same model, but different colors.

Model editing is a nice touch to any server, makes your gear look really nice if done right, but it will require all your players to DL an edited mpq file, and your going to have to make the choice of if you want this to be needed.

You can't add/modify item colors server-side. And . . . seeing as the model edit fix is going private next path, I wouldn't suggest an MPQ.

Also those two models are pre-existing models that are unused by Blizzard's items, there are lots of these in the game.
