I've spent a lot of time trying and succeeding with private server mostlyMaNGOS and Antrix and a little bit of Ascent which is basically Antrix but anyways here is what i recommend if you are new to the whole server thing i wouldstart you with MaNGOS and there are several MaNGOS repacks, server, andguides throughout the site if you have MaNGOS down and start messing aroundwith the SQL and start doing updates to it and customizing it then you can move upto Antrix and/or Ascent i personally prefer Antrix and use keyword: Apple in thesearch tool and scroll down until you find Apple Repack, download it and set it upkind of like you did MaNGOS but name the DB Apple and only use the SQLs providedin the 1 DB. I also learned how to setup a website and how to run it websites aremore common with MaNGOS but there are some Antrix/Ascent websited plus ifyou want to use Ascent i use JulianX's repack just search it. ...................................................... what did you learn tell us what u learned here at MMOwned and help people with what they want to learn.
