mangos with new patch? can it be done?

How do you use mangos with the new patch? i HAD the most update version, but now i cant log into my server.

Hey Godofwar. I had the same problem. I reverted back to a previous install of the 2.1.3 client, double-checked that my realm file was still pointing to my private realm IP, and I deleted the BNUpdate file from my WoW folder in Program Files (I store all the WoW updates on a fileserver, anyway). When I ran WoW from the .exe in the program directory, it worked fine for me. Hope this helps.

Yes that will help, although another problem i run into is the 25 other people that play in my server, must do the same thing, and its a pain, so i guess ill just find a way to update it. heh

Having to configure x25 is a pain- I found this post by Warsheep. I haven't done it, but maybe it will help. Thanks to Warsheep for the original post.

Go to your logonserver.conf
Search for "<Client MinBuild = "
You should see something like this:
<Client MinBuild = "6739"
MaxBuild = "6739">
Change it, to something like this
<Client MinBuild = "6739"
MaxBuild = "9999>
That should make almost all the future patches work
