Particularly Special Private Servers

I recently came into the private server scene, and while having options is nice, there are almost too many options. More often than not, I'll create an account on a server that interests me only to find out that it's a ghost town and that it doesn't really offer anything over the official servers. There are literally hundreds of them, which is far too many for one person to play on and sort through.

Are there any servers out there that you find particularly special for some reason (whether it be a decent/high population, great custom content, or something else)?

I --DO NOT-- want this to become an advertising thread. I intend this thread as a way for people to find the truly great private servers - for people to be to find the "gems in the rough" so to speak. So please, only post a server if you are recommending it with all your heart and not just plugging for your server (for example "xxserver has a great community, its very very small but should grow" won't work).

I also believe that all the little private servers should just join ONE central server and be happy to have hundreds of people playing just like a real server but you dont have to pay for it

Yeah, you're right. Playing on a server all by yourself really takes all the fun out of the game.

vairniss, that would be an awesome idea, to get duct-tape and stick all our servers together to create the Mega Server, with a population of 2 million ppl, would rock, but would be insane amount of work.

My server ispretty good, we just got hit by illidari so still deleting mobs and we're offline, but we have one hundred and forty two registered players.

Feel free to check it out, but as i said, were down for a while.
