To all of you who have questions like "How to do I forward ports"...

Listen, the reason this website has been getting denounced lately, is because of all of the "noobs" constantly asking obvious questions that they are too lazy to actually try and figure out by themselves, so two things:

One: If you don't know how to forward your ports, or know all of the commands, or anything in a huge criteria of experience with Ascent/Antrix, you shouldn't be making a server anyways. I know all of you would like to have your own server and be cool and run it yourself, but if you do not know how to do the simplest things, then I'd suggest you either figure it out, or ask a friend, but don't consult the hardworking people on MMOwned about it, because most of your questions, are stupid questions.

Two: To help resolve this very very common problem, I will be taking and answering questions in this thread about how to set up servers, how to run your server, and how to make/edit things in your server, along with many other categories. I will be checking this thread more than once daily, so feel free to ask any questions about Private Servers and I will answer all of the questions I can. I hope this helps people, just stop spamming useless threads about things that can be done if you just try. Just post here and I'll see what I can do.

P.S. Any questions about Mangos, will not be answered. If you can't figure Mangos out... well... damn. I also know... nothing... about ManGOS, I've always preferred Antrix/Ascent. I'm also not MAKING anything for you, but I'd be glad to tell you how to do it. I know there is already a sticky answering questions, but it does not seem to be getting utilized, so just post here if not there.

/agree. I'm not one of the people you are talking about, but I do have one question. When forwarding a port into your firewall, how would you forward a hug bulk at once, like 6889 - 6999? Or would I have to do it one by one? If that's the case, my firewall is just staying down >.< lol

What kind of router are you using?

You should have a start port and an end port column when forwarding one.

Ok since Ill ask here since Ive not been getting much response out of my post.

Im running Navicat 8 with a mangos server. I had my server running lastnight with people able to connect but had to shut down due to a windows update.

When i start up a connection as a local i can connect. However when i set it up for online use i change the server address in navicat and reboot my server. i have ALL my ports forwarded on this computer and my firewall off......

But still people are not able to conncect they see that the server is up but that the realm is off line when they go to my signup site. When they connect they get the the realm select screen. this is the same for me when i out it to online use.

I've only just disabled firewalls, so I unfortunately can't answer your question... I'll look into it though.

Did i post the right stuff.....Ive still yet to figure out why its not working. I disabled my router and went thru my modem so i know its not my port forwarding.
