Wtb Working Elevators

Alright alot of people know this problem, alot of people dont like this, and alot of the experts dont think its that big of a deal...

Is there any way to get all elevators to move? I mean even ones that I spawn. If anyone firgures this out I will +rep you, get more rep, rep you again, and then give you a cookie.

What do you mean by that? I actually have a similar problem with my elevators not actually carrying anything. I'm not one to ask for help, but it would be great help. =/

Um it would most likely be a DB issue. Seeing as you didn't specify the database or core its kinda hard to help. Um I know of only two elevators that work, and those are the ones over at Thunder Bluff and I think the one over in blackrock

No, all prespawned elevators work, and this problem may have something to do with your DB, but as for my problem, I could probably fix it in a second, I've just never tried. =/

I've had 8repacks. None have working spawned elevators, heck a few of the prespawned wouldnt work on some.

JK if your on antrix use .go enable
and .go activate
only after you have .go select the elevator!

Tried it, i get a "Gameobject activated/deactivated" but nothing changes.

Wait, so the elevator is not going up and down at all?

Once you spawn the object it should start moving, some of them dont but if you go onto thottbot and look up elevator and the mesa elevators work great

You don't understand, the elevator move just the way we want them to, but when we get onto them, they just go right through us and float to the top of their set path. They don't carry anyone up is the problem.

Exactly, and using the commands i said should fix it, at least it does for me each time.

As long as the person who spawned the elevator enters the commands it should work perfectly

After you spawn an evelator, select the GO (.gobject select) and type .gobject enable and .gobject activate (Doesnt matter what order its in) and it should carry YOU up also =)
