The Future Of 3.3.5a WOTLK

Since retail wow has changed everything with cataclysm there is no way for people to mine information on wotlk.
This means there can never be official information flowing into the emu community.

I personally believe there is enough information on WOTLK that has not been gone through that the wotlk emu community will still be able to produce updates for it for some time.
However other people believe since official WOTLK is dead,.. so is emulated wotlk.

I would like to hear other people input on this subject and i inspire you to reply.
Please no troll posts, I am looking for serious view points.

I work on 3.3.5a (WOTLK) because everything works. We have tons of tools to customise it, know all the memory addresses, have strong emulators... What more could you want?

The primary issue preventing updating to the new patches is a lack of manpower to deal with the time consuming and difficult procedures to emulate WoW in its current state. I know plenty of people who have managed to get MoP sandboxes and progress on it working, for example. However, they do not share this data and thus the community cannot progress. Not to mention there is a lack of any real skilled people in most of the communities which results in bad servers and leeching.

So I'm sticking with 3.3.5a, where everything works and I can do what I want.
