Game Developers - This position requires extensive knowledge of the game and how the Game functions. As a Game Developer, you will bring together knowledge of the ArcEmu Core to help develop and/or Fix bugs that may arise within the game. You are expected to report findings of bugs and also to report any work you do on the core. You must have experience with C++ and be fluent in English Language.

Advertisers - You help get our server going, you are just as useful as a Game Developer, or any other part of the community. You help bring the biggest part of the server to us, that being the "players". Without an advertisers, we are useless. We wish that our advertisers go around and approach community's politely and respectfully. Your main goal is to help bring players into the server, and thus making this job the most respectful in the administrators eyes.

Administrators - Your job is tough, and its not always fun. You will administrate the server, you will follow around and make sure everyone is staying in line. You will watch for staff members to make sure they are doing their job to the best of their ability. You will also conduct server work such as fixing problems with Forums, Server, any remote hardware issues. You will report any major issues to Sean.

Game Masters - Your job is to help players out in the game. You will be trained to learn and understand the ArcEmu commands, you must be respectful and be fluent in English. You will be helping the players on your GM account and that is all. This job does have many rewards to it!

Event Manager - You will be a special type of Game Master that will set up events after speaking with an administrator. You will attempt to set up events for holidays and fun days. You must be familiar with ArcEmu commands and be able to use them properly.

Exploit Specialist Team - You will be part of the bug team and will help find bugs in the game and will also take feedback from players. Your job is mostly undercover work. You will be assigned a name and an account, from there you will have basic GM commands and you will go around looking for hackers that may attempt to cheat. You will then report any name to a given administrator on and then you will move on.

Reverse Engineerer - You will be using OLLYDBG, IDA PRO and other tools to help find relevant information that may be wrong with the server. You will only use this if there is a problem that is not showing up to well. You will also help to make improvements towards the server.

Remote Administrator - This job is like an administrator but you work on the forums ONLY. You will administrate the forums and look for problems/issues on there.

Database Manager- You will manage the database this requires SQL knowledge, you MUST be able to work on a tight schedule.

Hi, I have a server currently in development stages.
The server is a 10x Midrate server.
I plan the server to be a midrate with aspects of funserver. For example teleporters, custom towns, morphers (maybe) and so on.
I myself don't like full fledged funservers due to the fact what is the fun in instant 80, heres your gear now sit in SW bragging that you are 80 with the same gear as everyone else.
I also plan to use trinity.
I understand it is harder to customize then arcemu, but I am striving for a blizzlike (ish) experience. quest and leveling wise.
Anyways on to the server.

Story/Lore

Long ago there was a ancient beast so powerful it was locked within a ancient cave, It was locked by the four gods them selves Thor, Thanos, Vulcun and Galactius.
These four gods confroneted the ancient beast Exodia, It was a exahusting fight between them, Exodia was powerfull then all of them but togther they used Trinity.
Trinity was concered nearly impossible to be done, In order to this the four would of have to sacarfice them sevles, Doing so the four performed trinity and concealed
Exodia in stone inside a ancient cave, But before the four gave away their lives they locked the cave with a stone wall unbreakable this wall was the four themselves.

500 years later

A cave was discovered by a gnome scientist, this gnome has then formed a party of various scientist, engineers and miners.
Some how with the modern technogoly they had and all the brain power they have had togther they brought down the wall, not knowing what layed behind it.
They went in and explored and noticed a Big statue like figure, They went closer to examinen it and upon doing so they somehow activated Exodia's Defense Mechanism.
This had brought power to Exodia and Exodia once again Lived, Exodia analyzed the party and immeadialty annilahted them.

3 years later

Exodia left his cave and went out into the world demolishing areas and causing mayham everwhere it went.
He is then confronted by a party of fighters, The fighters weakened Exodia almost near killing him, till Exodia summons two of his minions.
The fighters not knowing what to do went to fight the minions and defeating them but then to notice Exodia is gone, Exodia at the time was weakend
So fleaed back to his cave. But the fighters can't just walk into his cave or else they will be destroyed, They had to take out his power sources,
His power sources lie within the Armory of Scarlet Monastary and Libary of Scarlet Monastary.

How it will work

Start off at level 80 and speak to the welcome npc which will tell you what to do.From this point their will be custom quest chains that lead you to level 85 where you then must do a quest which requires you to slay
A custom boss name Exodia, but once you do this you do not actually confront Exodia, in his place his head servent Zanos is there and you must fight him. This of course won't be done alone at least 3 people in a group.
After doing this, It opens up Custom instances, There will be a easy instance, a medium which will belike heroic And then a hard instance which will be a 10 man +, While doing these you may obtain custom items which will be a key to your sucess
on defeating Exodia once and for all. After you have defeated him you are free to re raid to get all the custom items you need from their.
Now once you obtained all your custom gear there will be an event called unreal tournement which will be held by staff members or be done through a custom script.
In this tournement there will be people with the greatest and richest gear in the world, that will show off true power of the players
There will be groups of 2 + to take on each other, The team that makes it to the top will be known as the greatest and most powerful players
In the world!!

Summary:
When you start off go gear up
Pick up the custom quest line
After doing this quest line you will unlock 3 custom instances
Do 1 by 1 to gear up for the final instance
Now since you have done all the instances you are allowed to particapate in the unreal tournament to become the best known players.

This all due to change depending on how I take it on or How I feel on it. I will be working on most of this alone till I feel I need some staff members to help with this. I know the story line is a bit scattered but this is just a rough draft, I will build more upon this fix any holes in the story.

That's what I have so far I know its not the best but It will be getting improved. Excuse the Grammar and Spelling mistakes please.

What's Done:
Picked out the instances for the easy,medium and hard instance
Cleared out all 3 instances.
Done welcome quest and starter gear npc with the starting gear.(set's for each class)
Scripted Exodia and spawned him in the hard instance.(Might need nerfing)

What needs to be done:
Other 3 tiers of custom gear.
Custom weapons and accessories.
Do the medium and easy instance and script them.
Scripting a unique PvP System.
Flying mounts in azeroth this can be done through an item or core editing I know.
Custom ranks for vip's, Trial Gm's etc..
Script the and do the unreal tournament.
Custom BG/Arena.
Mall's
Teleporter, I must just worry about this later as its the easiest thing to obtain

Well at this time I'm only taking Dev's and Lua scripters or c++ but if your a c++ I don't know how to work with it.
I have this set up on a local host, So I might need a host so you can go work ingame.

About the server:
This server is an all around server. We have content In everything from RP,PVP,PVE and almost everything you can think of. I have been working on this server on and off for over a year now and I'd like to get it finished and make it into a fully functional public server that everyone and their grandmother can enjoy. Gamemasters must be at least 15 years of age and will be expected to follow all rules I will lay down. We are very formal and will be gamemastering in a blizzard format such as staying in the "gm box" or on "gm Island" at all times. What needs to be done

Although, It may look quite close to release I'd like a lot more done before we are finished and that is where my team comes into play. Right now most of the stuff done is PVP related. I'm going to need PVE gear made, custom instances LUA scripted, more custom instances bult, more world bosses, more quest lines and dailies, and whatever else you can think of. This server will not be released in days but probably weeks. Before it is released it WILL (hopefully) be top notch.

Why am I not Recruiting Gamemasters yet

Have i ever been an GM before: No, but i was an Mod at an unknown forum, which has been closed a few years ago (sadly )

Knowledge of GM Commands: Well, i have them, but they are a little bit rusty. But with time, i'll know them all again.

Problem with autority: No, i don't have a problem with autority.

What makes me think i'm qualified to be a gm on you server: I'm friendly, helpful and have a lot of creativity (i'm writing a story at the moment. Not finished, but i'm working on it.), so if you need a story, then say it to me, and i'm going to make one

What is the most important in being a GM in my opinion: To be friendly, helpful, polite and to have the patience of a saint. Taking time, to support the user, to answer all the questions. If you don't know something, ask the one from the staff, who knows that. And you NEED to show respect to everyone. Even if you don't like the user that much, you need to support him. You need to be objective.

Which Emu's i know: Arcemu, Ascent, MangOS, Trinity Core, Aspire, Hearthstone.

What qualities do i possess that can be beneficial to your server: I know how to create NPC's, Items and Quests. Bosses i cannot script, but i can make a concept, how a boss fight could be.

If i see a hacker, got his name but not his IP or account name, whats my next turn?: I'm contacting the admin so fast i can, and banning his character, to solve the problem for a short time.
