    Getting a wierd error on server

    Ok I have some problems.

    I finaly got the server to let me play inside it with my dyndns. So basicaly I set it to be public.

    I asked 2 people to visit the website for it. They could only see some stuff (only the text they couldnt see the graphics). I asked them to make an account and they couldnt. So I made them one. THey set their realmlist and tried to connect. It said Unable To Connect.

    Whats up?

    I changed some stuff around in the confs now he gets stuck at connecting. I did that patch where it lets 2.4.3 used play with Ascent 7.8 or whatever the latest version is. So I dont know.

    Log into your router and open all the ports

    I hate it when people mention +Rep in their signatures...oh wait...fail

    dmz doesnt mean all ports open , the ports you need to open are not part of Dmz. you should listen to advices.

    So I forwarded all ports and tried making it public... now it just sais cannnot connect to IP:PORT (Replace the words offcoarse). And in the longerserver.exe its not giving an error how it used to. So I am thinking that the world cant connect to logonserver or something. Any ideas?

    Make sure your Host.docs are correct because the website will run through your realmlist . Make sure your firewall is down and you have port 80 open on your windows firewall + any other and open in your router. Make sure your router doesn't have an internal firewall if so place the ip in a DMZ.

    like most people said, open the ports, and about the load error, recompile the core and dll files unless you already fixed it

    In your LogonServer.CONF File, at the very bottom, what is it set as?

    This part:
    Code:
    <LogonServer RemotePassword = "change_me_logon"
                 AllowedIPs = "FILL THIS IN"
                 AllowedModIPs = "FILL THIS IN">
