[Idea] Raiding Server - But way more imba :O

So, I've been thinking about this since when my retrail guild got into Hyjal Summit (I quitted that guild like 3 months ago, a big mistake ninjaing on a ret sword as holy haha), but always knew that my computer sucks and my internet connection is ****ing low... So I decided to share with you guys instead hehe


So, all rates set to blizzlike, you start at level 1. You go to first npc and he asks you "So, do you want to get instant 70?" you press "Yes", and then he says "Then you need the right answers of my questions, you need to be very skilled." So it's like he asks you questions only those that actually have a level 70 on retrail know the answers of. Step one - level 10, step two - level 20, etc.


Then, you get ported to a mall. Here you can buy all gems, gear, weapons, enchants and all that stuff you got on retrail. Your guild can get together by just creating a guild same as on retrail. Now whot?

I've planned this to be some kind of training-server for raids and stuff. So, it's like if your guild is on karazhan, you get together in the normal raid group, runs to Caverns of Time, and choose a portal to Karazhan Portal Room. Here you can choose portals to all bosses. If you need to get back to Caverns of Time, just use a item. So, its like this...

1. Go to CoT
2. Enter portal to Karazhan Portal Room
3. Choose portal to (like an example) Curator
4. Down Curator
5. Portal back to CoT with some kind of heartstone.
6. Get next boss.


If you die? What now? Self ressurect



Okay, so now if you know the tactics of the boss (how to down him), you now just need to log on at retrail, down him like you did on the test server, and get back on the test server to try next raid (like Gruul's Lair)







What do you guys think about it? It would be awesome if someone could open a server like this

Sounds simpler just to make an instant 70 raiding server with blizzlike drops. No need for all the Q's and A's, as players just want their items fast with no hassle.

Why not make a script that asking you to enter your retail char and on what realm, and *somehow magic* it gives the gear you got by the armory site.

I agree, that part of the plan sounds silly, players can just reroll until they figure out the correct answers, meaning you'll end up with alot of unused characters in your DB :P

If the server was 100% scripted blizzlike and everything would work, you wouldnt have to use those qs really. If a server like this excisted I would bring my whole guild lol.

Doing this would be the perfect way of progressing through PvE on retail.
Would also spare the 2hrs farming for me as a healer every day
But still, only helps during progress, while farming content you have to farm those 2 hrs anyways >.>
