[Help] Public Not Working!!!

I've gone through pretty much every single guide to making ascent public and none of them are working. I've used my external ip as the realmlist and nobody can connect to my server. It just hangs on "connecting" and when trying to visit my account page it says "server is taking too long to respond"

I have opened all the ports in windows firewall and I am not using a router, please help me, I dont know what to do.

Whats your method on connecting to the internet?

If you have a modem that is directly linked to your pc then it will only be a idea of
Disable all Firewalls. Inc. Downloaded ones and also the [crap] Windows Firewall.

After that you want to make sure that you can connect your self.
You can do this by using localhost ( a Word that is refined to a loopback on your pc.)
or
127.0.0.1 which is the same thing just a number.

If you can connect then see if you can host anything else from your pc?

download easyphp.net and try and see if you can host a site.

If you have more then 1 user on your home network this can cause problems and without a router WILL make things harder.

Make sure you get the ip from places such as WhatsMyIP.com and not from inside your pc. Where ever you may of found it.

try opening port 80 if it works go to IP Chicken - Whats my IP address? ip address lookup use the ip ther make sure apache is on then if u can see the pages bye the ip then its opend port 8o if it only works on cPanel® or cPanel® then ur ports are not open or download xxamp search it in google hope this helpded you out

oh yea its definetly working, i been playing lan for months now, im on windows dialup networking and the other computer is the one with the modem

i know dialup isnt good for running servers but this is just for me and my friends who been wanting to try my emu for a wile now

im using evils account page which hosts it through apache, it works lan but not online, i got my correct external ip from those sites but its still not working

everyone can ping me but they cant connect, i dont understand what the problem is, i am using no firewalls
