    [HELP]Shifting IP Adress Problem!

    My friend own a server ( http://ewewow.servegame.org )
    he got problems with a IP Adress which always changes. We dont know why its doing that but we need help solving it.

    You need to setup a dynamic IP.
    A dynamic ip is an ip that doesn't change.

    Or you can just change your ip in your config file everytime, it isn't that hard because your ip doesn't usually change while your computer is powered on, unless you disconnect/connect to your internet.

    hmm how do i do that? and don't you mean a static IP?
    i just googled it and found this:

    Well most likely that is due to you having a dynamic IP and not a static IP. Most have a dynamic IP where it will change. For some a dynamic IP changes often (like every time they go onto the internet) and for others their dynamic IP does not change often (that is me). AOL users change all the time. As for the IPS changing I dunno possibly your ISP is borrowing the IP address (or renting it). Here is a neat little video I found that kinda explains the difference in IP's (OK at the end the guy kinda wines and gets annoying but the first 3/4 of it is very informative).

    ok i found a video about a geek trying to explain the difference between a dynamic IP and a static IP
