stuck at handshaking!!!!

I need help. I followed this guide

REPACK → Mafiaboy's Repack v4 for patch 2.3 - WoWps Forum

and i did everything perfectly (i hope) but when i try to get on, i type in my pssword and login name, but when i click login, the window is stuck at handshaling. i am running vista. if i try it again, it says it cant connect, when i try again it is stuck at authenticating. when i try again its just a blank little window. PLEASE HELP ME.

that repack is for 2.3.. u need to downgrade to patch 2.3

WoW directory> Repair> Reset and check files and once this is completed apply patch 2.3

Its not I was going to do my own but VC won't compile QQ well compile your own or make your own vendors
