thats the port if not make sure your ip is correct and up
NoT A ZomBie~BuT iLL~EaTuRBrainS
lolzors Which port?
You need to compile the scripts with the same rev of ascent as the core.
I did...thats odd
ehehe its a simple fix go to your ascent-relms.conf and change the ip address, it has to be your external ip address or 127.0.0.1 then it should be fine
it already is 127.0.0.1
Yeah I am having this same issue, and I have tried all these fixes so far nothing works
You have to remove moonplusplus dlls and luascripting.dll and serverstatusplugin.dll
Or compile them to match your ascent revision. (as spidey said)
And theThat could be a firewall, or your ports. If the ports isnt forwarded with your internal ip. (not 127.0.0.1)Hey gusy im trying to make my own server here and everything is fine except 2 things. When I logon I get stuck at Logon Server, then goes back to realm list.

okay i deleted the .dll's because I do not know how to compile / match em with my ascent rev. But I could not find any one called moonplusplus.dll
The moonplusplus dlls i was talking about is all the dll files u got from moonplusplus aka the ones with "moon" in their name

ya deleted all those too. still not working.
Have you tried using your real network IP instead of the loopback address (127.0.0.1)
For some funky reason my real server only works when I use its internet IP (in the logonserver.conf etc) instead of its local ip (192.168.x.x)
In your .conf files - logonserver.conf and ascent-world.conf etc (or whatever your conf files are) try using your local LAN ip instead of 127.0.0.1
Just a suggestion but it makes a difference for me

edit yeah actually that fixed my problem too. I could connect to my own Pcs server what you describe happened to other ppl on the network.
So i changed all my .conf files to say 192.168.0.333 (my local LAN ip) instead of localhost or 127.0.0.1
Then i changed the other people on my local networks realmlist.wtf file to 192.168.0.333 and they got on fine when previously they were experiencing your problem

How about connecting others outside your Internet connection? Does this work?
