Scripting Help.

Alright, heres the deal...
I'm new to scripting, to sum it up.
I've done a few basic things, but I'd like to learn how to script.
Any suggestions for starting out and learning?
And yes, I know I'm leecher status... unfortunately I made this account a long while ago, and forgot about it until recently, and don't often have anything to contribute.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you already have C++ knowledge, my suggestion is to start checking examples of working scripts. Checkout Aspire scripts from svn://svn.aspiredev.org/aspiredev and start by modding them

That's the thing, I have minimal knowledge of C++ .
What's my best bet at learning?

svn://svn.aspiredev.org/aspiredev doesn't open for me... firefox tells me it can't read it.

Ahh, kk. I'm looking for some stuff on learning C++ at the moment, hopefully I'll be able to find some stuff.
