    About Repacks..

What are repacks exactly? Are they editable, or do you just run it and then u got a server and is it just hamachi?

If you could tell me a few things about repacks that would be nice ?

Repacks are simply 'Packages' of cores, databases, websites, built-in MySQL + Apache, and a combonation of those things. Alot these days have everything - some have merely a custom database and core. Everything is editable except the core in repacks - you would need to compile your own core then. Hamachi has nothing to do with repacks.

Repacks are something fun someone puts together but mostly everything works only with that one revision meaning if you update all the customs go bye bye. Its better to build /compile it all your self because you cna recompile the extra dll's for your current newly compiled core all the time with out having to look up the script over adn etc.

I don't suggest you use a repack. If you must use one, use Panex

And I suggest ADE: Ascent Database Editor

I suggest you compile your own Ascent, this allows you to always be up to the minute with the latest ArcEmu/Ascent core. Here is a guide I have written and a video I did

    I dont understand
    Step 1: The SVN Address
In order to get OpenAscent on your computer you must have a location to download it from. This is known as the SVN address. OpenAscent's SVN address is: Revision 33: / . This will download the stable branches, along with the newest overall revision which isn't always stable.
    do i download something?

sectorseven told you to use your own compiled core becuz repacks get outdated very fast and lose popularity fast also...
If you compile ur own core and use the NCDB database for example you can always update along with the SVN without problems...

    grtz
