As the title says...
I got BanViktor's repack, and used several of the how to guides posted in mangos guides, along with several of the going live without hamachi guides, and as far as I can get when trying to connect from another computer on my network is "Authenticating." And even then, I only get that far by adding port 3306 on to the realmlist address.
I don't know if it's because the computer i'm trying to connect from is wireless or not, and I don't know what else to try. I've modified my drivers\etc\hosts file, as well as changed both conf files and the realmlist db in Navicat all to show my (I opted for DynDns) address, and when I try to connect to that I get "Unable to connect." So I switch to the host pc's internal IP with port 3306, to get the "Authenticating" forever.

Are your ports forwarded?

Did you change your windows hosts file?

Did you change the DNS settings in your router?

Do you have a firewall (even windows firewall) running?

Well, I came up with another idea, and set realmlist in Navicat to 192.168.254.4 (Server pc's internal IP) and left everything else the dyndns addy, and i get in from another pc and can select the realm, but stuck in realm loop... Closer, but no cigar

Try not using a repack, you might have better luck compiling on your own

Check the wiki on ArcEmu for an easy step by step guide on how you can compile your own server, and there are many guides on here on how to do it

Well, I decided to try one thing in a last ditch effort to get this repack working, and though it makes NO sense, it seems to have worked... I put my ip address in the realmlist using Navicat instead of the dynamic domain I got from DynDns, and all of a sudden, logins could be made...
So unless there's a limit on length of addresses in mysql, then like I said, this makes NO sense...

Ok now if I try to play from the same network the serverr is running on, I get the realmlist loop... And if I set it so that I can get in, then everybody else cant get in... Damnit this is confusing

I would follow hasbro's suggestion and compile your own. Let me find the link for a really good start from scratch guide, i'll edit this post when i find it
